Dr. Crosdel O. Emuedo, Director
Dr. Crosdel O. Emuedo studied Sociology, Business Administration and International Relations, in which he obtained a doctorate. His area of specialisation is Human Security. He teaches International Relations and Politics. He is also presently the Acting Director of the University’s Institute of Delta and Development Studies (IDDS).
Profile of WDU Institute of Delta and Development Studies
Western Delta University, inaugurated the Institute of Delta and Development Studies (IDDS) in 2013, as part of its academic mandate. The Institute seeks to interrogate the socio-economic consequences of oil production on the University’s immediate host communities and the Delta region generally. The Institute focuses primarily on the interaction of government and the people, the economy, natural resources, socio-cultural factors, governance and human security with a view to actively promoting the development of the region. The Institute in addition to its research endeavours also conduct workshops and certificate training courses for both public and private sector workers.
EYONG Mbeng Martin (Ag Director EPS)
Mr Eyong .M.M, is presently the Acting- Director of Entrepreneurial studies and General Studies Unit of the University. (EPS/GST).
I am an academic staff and a Lecturer I in the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
My research area is focus mainly on Biological Control of plant diseases, Microbiological and Physioco-chemical quality of food products, Environmental and Public health Microbiology, Antibacterial, Antifungal and Phytochemical analysis of plant parts.
Mr. Eyong has published research in reputable journals and he is a member of American society for Microbiology.
Eyong Mbeng Martin is married to Mrs Eyong Sarah (nee Unusiotame-Owolagba Emobonuvie) and have been blessed with four children.
